My Life in His Clutches

My Life in His Clutches

The light and kind story of the relationship between Wendy Hilding, who has been diagnosed with the unfortunate condition of butterfly syndrome (fragile skin and unbearable pain from it) and a golden retriever named Ted.

Before she met Ted, Wendy lived a withdrawn, confined life, which consisted of constant monitoring to avoid serious injury from even accidental touching. And despite her desire to be strong and independent, her limited actions had severely interfered with her freedom.

Because of the constant strain, her nervous system lived with the heroine at the limit of her abilities. However, with the appearance of Ted, the girl’s way of life changes dramatically. Thanks to the good-natured, attentive and loyal retriever, Wendy gains freedom of action, becomes sociable and even trusts Ted with the most precious thing – her life.
